Following numerous delays and setbacks caused by Khoved lockdown, closed borders and investor uncertainty, Cannaconsulting broke ground to begin phase one of a 10ha medical Cannabis project near Maseru in Lesotho last week.

Phase one consists of a 1200 square meter greenhouse and ancillary buildings of sufficient capacity for the full scale project. Phase 2, which will commence after the first harvest out of phase 1 greenhouse, sees an additional 5ha greenhouse added to the project.

The client, Agribiomed Africa, was the first corporate to embrace Cannaconsulting’s Biophilic cultivation strategy and made the decision based on the economic principles as well as the ethics driving the strategy.
